Commissioner's Welcome Letter
Commissioner's Welcome Letter
Welcome to the 2008 Spring Lacrosse Season for both the boys and girls of Lutherville Lacrosse. My name is Paul Foreman and I am the commissioner, it is my privilege to lead such a fine group of coordinators, coaches, players, volunteers, and parents. We are truly blessed to have such a large and spirited program. This season we have once again grown and have been able to see more boys and girls enjoy the thrill of playing the great game of lacrosse.
This year Lutherville Lacrosse is completely paperless, you will find all your information for the upcoming season on this website. This website is designed to aid you in obtaining information about coaches, teams, fields, weather cancellations, schedules and more. Please take the time to review the entire site carefully and print important pages to keep where you can access them easily. This website will be your main piece of information to carry you through the entire season. If the answer you are looking for is not located in the sections where you might think you would find it, there will be instructions there to tell you where to find the answer. Please use this resource first, when you have a question.
If you have any questions, and the answers cannot be found on the website. The best way to have them answered is to email that person, I have listed each coordinator's. most coaches, as well as my email address on this website. Email your question and we will get back to you as soon as possible, remember we are all volunteers with very busy schedules, so your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.
One major change this year is that most likely we will not be using Seminary Park at all. You may have heard that this facility is being updated with a new turf field, which we will have the privilege of using next year. So this year space will be at a premium and your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Here at Lutherville we have a great tradition for putting excellent teams on the field at all levels. More importantly we have an even greater tradition of playing with integrity and character, please work with us to see that tradition continue. I ask that each player, coach, parent, volunteer and fan conduct themselves in a way that continues to bring pride to our program. Let the players play, coaches coach and fans cheer, respectfully. Your cooperation with our code of conduct is greatly appreciated. It is expected and required that each player, parent, coach, and volunteer take the time to visit the MYLA website, and familiarize yourself with the MYLA code of conduct (you can reach the MYLA website by clicking on the MYLA tab of this website). Your agreement to participate in our program assumes that you have read, and will abide by this code of conduct.
This year we are anticipating another great year, hopefully the weather will cooperate, and we will get some of those mild temperatures that we experienced in December and January, either way we are looking forward to a great year and trust that you will partner with us to see that goal realized.
Thank you, and best wishes for the 2008 season,
Pat and Andi O'Connor
Commissioner
