Game Times: Sundays starting March 28th at either 1 , 2:30pm or 4pm
Practice and Game Location: Valley Fields South on Valley Heights Dr between Seminary and Thorton Rds. (detailed directions can be found on the field location page of this website).
Coach: Each player will be assigned a team and a coach after the first few Saturday's in March, you will be given more instructions at the Saturday practices.

2010 Travel 7-8 Girls Team LTRC Girl’s Lacrosse will be fielding two travel teams this year in addition to their 7-8 in-house program. The 7-8 travel teams will be for those girls whose skills suggest participation in a more competitive environment based upon the coaches’ evaluations during tryouts. Girls that play on this travel team will still be required to play in our in house program. The travel team will be in addition to in-house. The travel league will consist of teams from Hereford, Carroll Manor, Kelly Post, Westminster, Cockeysville, Hickory, Freedom and Jarrettsville. The travel team will play 6 games as well as a few scrimmages. In addition to the 6 regular season games, the travel team will also participate in 2-3 end of the season tournaments (one of which will be Lax Splash). Regular season games will be played on either Friday evenings or Sunday late afternoons. These games will not interfere with the in-house games, but they could result in the girl’s having to play two games on a given Sunday (their in-house game plus their travel game). We will be having some additional mid-week practices for the travel team. Our goal will be to keep these practices to a minimum as our intent is not to burn out the girls. However, in order to get the most out of the travel experience we believe it is important that the girls practice together as a team to learn more advanced lacrosse skills as well as some additional rules that will be enforced in the travel games. The head coaches of the travel teams will be Robin Lowe & Allison Woodward. Both Robin and Allison have a tremendous amount of experience playing and coaching lacrosse. Playing on this team will require an addition fee of approximately $90 per girl to cover the cost of tournament fees and referee fees. Arrangements on making payment of these fees will be communicated once the team is selected.

Listed below are some tips for the upcoming season
See your coach or age group coordinator if you have any questions.
- Make sure each player arrives on time and ready to begin practice at the designated time listed above for your age group. Each player should also come equipped to play, mouth guard, and stick, girl's gloves are optional, however they are a good idea especially in the cold.
- Eye protection (girls goggles or eye cages) are mandatory. You can purchase them at either Dicks, Bacharach, Sports Her Way, or most other sporting goods stores, please make sure that they meet US lax guidelines.
- If you are dropping your player off, please make sure that you return at least ten to fifteen minutes before practice ends to be able to get your player on time as well as hear any instructions that are given at the end of practice to the parents and players.
- Remember to dress appropriately; it can be very cold on the field in March.
- You may want to bring a water bottle with your name on it.
- We recommend labeling all your equipment with your name and phone number.
- Please have your first and last name on a piece of tape on the back of your outer most garment.
- Your coach will distribute uniforms once teams are assembled.
- In the event there is inclement weather please check the web site for cancellation notices www.luthervillelax.com and click on weather cancellations or check the weather line at 410-628-8889 one hour prior to practice or game time.
